Old houses along the river

Ghent (’Gent’ in Dutch) is a charming Flemish city, known for its remarkable historic and cultural heritage, and also for its youthfulness and contemporary flair. It attracts a great number of events and visitors throughout the year and its University is among the largest and most renowned in Belgium.

The conference organisation will not be able to arrange accommodation for those who wish to attend. There are a number of hotels, B&B’s and studios that are within walking distance of the conference venue Het Pand in different price categories.

A good starting point to find accommodation is the visit Ghent website, which also provides a lot of information on the city itself.
