Almudena Oregas – CSIC Madrid – As member of the research line “Archaeology and Social Processes” she is specializing in landscape research from an historic and social point of view.
Anthony Corns – The Discovery Programme, Dublin – Specialist in Geographic Information Science and its application in archaeological research.
Chris Gaffney – University of Bradford – Lecturer in Archaeological Geophysics with research focus on intra-site interpretation and landscape analysis, with particular interests in methodological developments and visualisation as an aide to interpretation.
Daniel Pletinckx – Visual Dimension, Oudenaarde-Ename – Civil engineer with specialization in information technology and extensive experience in heritage presentation programmes and virtual reality reconstructions.
Dirk Callebaut – Ename Center for Public Archaeology and Heritage Presentation, Oudenaarde-Ename – Archaeologist-historian specializing in the Middle Ages with focus on research, presentation and public outreach.
Eileen Ernenwine – University of Arkansas – Research Associate at the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies, specializing in ground‐penetrating radar and other near‐surface geophysical methods. She has conducted archaeo‐geophysical investigations in the Middle East, Europe, South America, and in the USA.
Éric Fouache – Professor at the University of Paris-Sorbonne, Abu Dhabi – Research in the area of geoarchaeological, palaeoenvironmental and palaeogeographical studies in Mediterranean (Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece), Black Sea (Russia), Near East (Turkey) and Middle East (Iran, Afghanistan) areas.
Giuliano Rodolfi – University of Florence – Professor of Physical Geography and Geomorphology at the Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry.
Giuseppe Ceraudo – University of Salento, Lecce – Associated Professor for Ancient Topography at the Faculty of Cultural Heritage with specialisation in aerial photography and landscape archaeology.
Helmut Brückner – University of Cologne – Professor at the Department of Geography with focus on Coastal Research, Geoarchaeology and Geochronology. Regional research areas include the Mediterranean, the Middle East, the Caribbean and Thailand.
Jeroen Poblome – Universiteit Leuven – Professor at the Department of Archaeology and Francqui Research Professor for the Humanities. He specializes in artisanal production mechanisms and exchange patterns in the eastern Mediterranean from the late Hellenistic to early Byzantine periods.
John Bintliff – Universiteit Leiden – Professor of Classical Archaeology; one of the co-directors of the Boeotia Project, an interdisciplinary landscape programme investigating the evolution of settlement in Central Greece, with the archaeological surface survey of town and country as its central approach.
Jose-Luis Peña-Monné – Universidad de Zaragoza – Professor at the Department of Geography and Territorial Management with large experience in Geomorphology.
Kosmas Pavlopoulos – Harokopio University, Athens – Associate Professor at the Department of Geography, specialising in the reconstruction of past coastal environments and their management.
Martin Millett – Cambridge University – Laurence Professor of Classical Archaeology and a Fellow of Fitzwilliam College. His research interests lie in the social and economic archaeology of the Roman world and the interactions between the Classical World and indigenous societies.
Simon Crutchley – English Heritage – Development and Strategy Manager and member of the Aerial Survey & Investigation Team of this lead advisory body to the government.
Sofia Pescarin – CNR Rome – Researcher at the Institute of Technologies applied to Cultural Heritage of the National Council of Researches in Rome (CNR ITABC) and specialist in GIS, landscape reconstruction, open source and virtual heritage.
Stefano Campana – University of Sienna – Lecturer of Ancient Topography, specializing in remote sensing, aerial photography, geophysical prospection and fieldwork for purposes of research, recording and archaeological impact assessment.
